SUStee measures the moisture in your substrate based on pF values. The pF value indicates how much water a plant can absorb. 80% of all plants die due to incorrect watering. Sustee helps to avoid such mistakes.
No batteries and easy to use. Simply insert it into the pot and observe the color indicator. If the color indicator is blue, the plant does not need water. If the color indicator changes to white, it's time to water the plant.
Available in S, M and L - the right size for every pot.
Application:
Insert SUStee into the substrate. The area between "►" and "◀︎" indicates the correct depth.
Water generously when using SUStee for the first time. SUStee will change color within 20 to 30 minutes after watering, depending on the amount of water and water retention capacity. The times given below are only approximate, it can take up to an hour for some substrates. Size S: Approx. 3 minutes, Size M: approx. 15 minutes, Size L: approx. 25 minutes
Water when the color indicator is white again. Please do not water as long as the color indicator still shows a slight blue tint.
Pot sizes:
S: For pots with a diameter of 6 - 9 cm
M:For pots with a diameter of 10.5 - 18 cm
L: For pots with a diameter of 18 - 36 cm
