What is neem oil?
Neem oil is extracted from the seeds of the tropical neem tree. A cold pressing process preserves all the active properties of the tree. The oil is then bottled with Rimulgan (from castor oil) and essential peppermint oil to create an effective and easy-to-use neem oil for plants.
A 100ml bottle is enough to make 10 litres of plant protection spray. We have included a practical measuring cup. Use a spray bottle to apply the mixture to the soil and leaves of your plants. Do not spray it on the leaves when they are in direct sunlight.
Neem oil is a good natural way to keep unwanted insects at bay so that they do not disturb the growth of your plants.
It can also be used to control fungi such as mold, mildew and bacteria such as fire blight.
How is it used?
The perfect mixing ratio of water and neem oil is 1:100. This means 1 ml of oil to 100 ml of water. Dilute the neem oil with water and use a spray bottle to spray it directly onto the leaves and soil. If you leave the mixture in the bottle for more than one day, its effectiveness will decrease. So only mix the amount you will use immediately.
